Meek attempts in seeking what is needful while placing my whole life, with trepidation, into God's hands
"O Father, light up the small duties of this day's life: May they shine with the beauty of Your countenance. May we believe that glory can dwell in the most common task of every day."
I just posted a comment for him...I realize how difficult this must be for him and your whole family, but remember that it's not "cancelled" rather just "postponed."
Marfa~ I thank you for your words. However, there is more to this than we could really express. At this point, it is cancelled and the issue we wrestle with is NOT the ordination itself but the leadership we want to put our family under... it's a choice we weren't prepared to make nor thought we'd experience. May God continue to direct our paths
Ramblings in words and photos from a stay-at-home(schooling) mom to four exceedingly independent children. A seminarian wife to my remarkable husband, Father Deacon Raphael, of 14 years. I am also a Christian, a convert to Eastern Orthodoxy, who needs the grace of our Lord and Savior each day.
I invite you to introduce yourself, or impart some "pearls of wisdom", and remember me in your God-pleasing prayers.
