Meek attempts in seeking what is needful while placing my whole life, with trepidation, into God's hands
"O Father, light up the small duties of this day's life: May they shine with the beauty of Your countenance. May we believe that glory can dwell in the most common task of every day."
Throughout Advent and into Nativity, I will share photo-pieces of our family's preparations; while humbly manifesting customs of the Orthodox Faith, in addition to, some family togetherness.
Oh, so nice, Kellylynn! I love the photos of your husband and your son serving together in the Church but there is something so very moving about the sight of them at home in front of the candles by your family's icon corner. Please do keep posting more about your traditions with the kids. I would find that quite inspiring.
Ramblings in words and photos from a stay-at-home(schooling) mom to four exceedingly independent children. A seminarian wife to my remarkable husband, Father Deacon Raphael, of 14 years. I am also a Christian, a convert to Eastern Orthodoxy, who needs the grace of our Lord and Savior each day.
I invite you to introduce yourself, or impart some "pearls of wisdom", and remember me in your God-pleasing prayers.

Thank you for sharing your pictures.
Those are some beautiful photos.
I'm looking forward to building family traditions for the advent season as well.
Happy belated St. Nicholas Day, by the way.

I love this idea. Looking forward to more photos.
I left the previous comment with the link to my other blog :) I really need to work on merging the two!
